Candidates must possess the following qualifications as per the Service Rules 2012:
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. Computer Science (Regular 2-year) OR MCA (Regular 3-year) OR BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT (Regular) with at least 55% aggregate marks.
- Language Requirement: Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit OR 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects.
- Certification: Must have qualified HTET (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test) or STET (School Teacher Eligibility Test) in the relevant subject.
- Academic Record: Consistent good academic record with at least 50% average in any three exams (10th/12th/Grad/PG) and 55% specifically in the qualifying degree.
